Ephesians 1:16-20

I love it when I’m reading something in the Bible and a part jumps out at me and then God shows me how I can be praying it for myself and for others in my life. I came across this one yesterday and am praying it for my Keith and for other leaders in my life…

God, thank You for my Keith. God, I lift him up to You, asking that You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give him spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may know You even more. I pray also that the eyes of his heart may be continually enlightened so that he can be reminded of the wonderful future You have promised, the rich and glorious inheritance and incomparably great power for us who believe. God, I pray that he will understand the incredible greatness of Your power – that same power that You exerted when you raised Jesus from the dead.

Ephesians 1:16-20

16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead
