do over

Ever had a day when you wish you could play a “do over” card?

Recently, I had one of those days.

I can tend to pride myself on my ability to multi-task and get lots of things done simultaneously.

And without a doubt, God has used that pridefulness to teach me that without Him I am nothing and I need to continually submit every gift God has allowed me to have to bring Him glory, not to pat myself on the back.

He also makes the most of every opportunity when I start to try and do things in my own strength to show me that I can do so much more when it’s in His strength that I depend.

And at the end of those “do-over” days, His forgiveness and grace never cease to amaze me.

How great is our God.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
